Let me just say that I am not Eminem’s #1 fan by any means, nevertheless this song gave this trailer the edge it needed. This trailer was to capture the attention of a more mainstream audience. I don’t believe this was really aimed at the hardcore MW fans. This was to get those people who were watching the World Series or South Park (the trailer aired on both of them) on the fence thinking, “is that new Call of Duty game really worth getting?” Boom. Give them some nasty shots of the game while Eminem drops some rhymes in the background and you’ve sold’em.
