“Initiation” takes place before Altair has received the coveted title of “Hashshashin.” Like all young men, Altair aspired to leave his mark on the world. After years of grueling training, fear and anticipation course through his veins. Anticipation, because he understands that this is the last right of passage toward brotherhood. Fear, because he knows that through the hundreds of apprentices who reach this point, few come back alive.

The artist used Corel Painter and then we take the different layers and animate them in Adobe After Effects. We put it all together in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Either way, I’m eager!! the one thing that bothered me about the original game is the lack of backstory on altair. What do assassin’s go through before they can be called as such? What hardships do they have to endure? Its nice to see another’s take on the thought

Oh Graham, why do you do this to us lol, well I have been waiting for this film ever since I discovered it about two months ago, and with the addition of AC2 to the story of Assassins Creed, even more info on Altair and what really makes him the person he was is a very, very welcome addition. Looks amazing and waiting…patiently lol. Keep up the good work guys.

I just received a full draft of the sound for Initiation. We are VERY close!!! Had several changes to that draft. Hopefully I will receive a new draft in the next week and be able to release this short soon.
