This week’s Duo Groupie of the Week is IGN’s Jessica Chobot. We are trying to get the easy ones out of the way up front, but Jessica is a staple in the gaming industry. Jessica is a video host at IGN.com and a staff writer on their website. The first thing that makes her a great Duo Groupie is that her call sign, nickname, whatever you want to call it is The Baroness. That just throws all kinds of dominating ideas into our (my) head.

Yah that is hot. You got to have respect for a woman whose career was launched by licking things that nerds like. Question: How many kids have gone up to her asking her to lick their Gameboy at a gaming convention. Answer: One, and it was Mitch and he doesn’t own a Gameboy.
I’m sure there is some ongoing list of things fanboys want her to lick. It should be noted that she started a competition called “Lick Your Shit.” This obvisouly ended badly when you consider her fan base. Because I want these weekly Duo Groupie posts to focus on girls not guys, I will just include this one example of someone who got it right.

Anyway, the licking aside she does hold the top viewed blog on IGN. Also, she does play a lot of games. You kind of have to if you are a staff writer for IGN. Now we don’t know what came first, her playing games and then becoming one of the biggest gamer girls out there, or if the games came after her looks spun stardom. The chicken and the egg my friend, the chicken and the egg.
