With the recent release of World of Warcraft’s “Wrath of the Lich King” (aka further proof of world nerd domination and supporting actual I-play-game-for-you-for-money industries in foreign countries) we as consumers must step back and assess the situation.

When Cosplay goes very very right...

Video games can be an escape from the every day grind to a virtual grind of killing trolls and returning keepsakes to youngsters back in town…to quote the great Randy Marsh, “most days I’m Randy Marsh an everyday geologist, but here I am Falcore, defender of peace.”

From the game sales alone (not including the monthly fees necessary to play) Blizzard reportedly sold 2.8 million copies at 40$ and, since I haven’t taken math since high school, this is a lot of people and lots of money.

Hell at least the LARP’ers get out and get some excerise on the Junior High baseball field of battle.  A game with no end credits must be played sparingly!

Lord knows Blizzard could probably get America out of debt…at least with China, they’d only have to threaten to shut down all the Eastern Servers! mauahaha! But it helps to keep in mind one can level cooking skills or /hug with people in real time!

Hell, if everyone had the 36 simultaneous account activity like this swingin’ bachelor we’d all eventually end of becoming the Matrix.
