I’ve noticed Spencer has been blogging a lot about Superhero movies and this got me to thinking about my personal favorite superhero, whom I think is easily the coolest. The hero I am talking about is James Dalton of course, of Swayze’s famous blockbuster hit, Road House. God, what a great movie in general.

Dalton should be in the next Mortal Kombat with this as his fatality move.

Now I know what many of you are thinking, “He is not even a superhero, he has no super powers”. And to that I say bullshit. People often ask if you could choose any super power what would you choose, and while most people choose to fly or be able to elongate body parts like Mr. Fantastic, I have always envied Dalton’s power, the Throat Power Death Strike Pull Out Oops Dead Move, which I believe is what they call it in the movie word for word.

Another main reason I believe Dalton rises above the rest, and when I say rises above I mean far above, is the fact that he does not stop short when it comes to women. Many super heroes are always worried about getting involved or fear that they will put the woman in danger if they get close. This rule does not pertain to Dalton, he just gets right to it and does it. None of this pussy emotions bullshit we see with Spider-Man and Batman, he just beats down and then gets down, bloodies and bangs, that’s all he knows.
