Here is a behind the scenes look at the pre-production of Assassin’s Creed – Initiation.
Above is the full storyboard to AC – Initiation. Actually the middle cave portion is missing and can be viewed over at Initiation’s artist Eric’s portfolio page.
The image below shows the steps from concept to completion. You can see my (Graham’s) amazing art talents on the left, which are basically the scene concepts I gave to Eric. The middle images represent Eric’s interpretation of my storyboard and explanation of each scene. And finally the last image is that of the final product. We loved Eric’s style and really wanted him to make these scenes his own. Some scenes I had strict guidelines, yet others I pushed him to explore and try new things.

I watch the animation and fall in love again for Assassins creed. “Initiation” complete a moment what not appereance in the game. I love storyboards and painted art.
